A Poem for the Peaceful Rest
Rebekah, Age 13, UK
Peace be to those who die
For causes quite unknown
As they find eternal truth
In that realm we all do seek

We hope their rest comes in joy
And only when they need it
They may have opened their eyes
For just a minute on this earth

But still we mourn
Although they are happy now
For there is more beyond this world

And when the time comes,
Iíll welcome it with a smile
For Iím told of what will be
Happiness with no trouble for me!
