                      The price the soldiers had to pay
To give you life on this day
Shot their way to your freedom
So that we will have rights
No more slaves, no more discrimination
To be free is a privilege to not be abused
But it comes with pain, suffering
Too many times a man dies
just for you to be free
In God’s eyes we’re equal
In others’ we’re not
To run, to cry, to dance, to fly
