Flora
Serina, Age 10, Hialeah, FL

Flora was sitting on her black satin sheets on her minuscule twin bed. She was thinking of really deep stuff like, well, death itself. Her raven black hair was in a ponytail. She had beautiful sky blue eyes that all but shimmered in the hot sun of sunny, sunny Florida. "Flora! Come down here right now!" her mother yelled from down the long winding stairs. With a groan she got up and began trudging down the staircase. No one truly understood this young girl. They think she is anti-social, always locking herself up in her room. She just isn't a people person. No one could ever know her depressed side. EVER.
