Our Solar System
Siri, Age 7, Peoria, IL
                      Todayís a summer night,
And stars are shining bright.
I look up in the night sky,
I wonder what it would be like to fly.
The Moon looks like cheese, but it really is not,
It has tons of craters, believe me a lot!
Venus is the evening star,
You can see from afar.
Earth is the best,
Itís our beautiful nest.
Mercury and Mars are pretty small,
If you go on either one, youíll grow a little tall!
Jupiter has the Big Red Spot,
And itís not very hot.
Saturn has the beautiful rings,
Theyíre made up of many interesting things.
Uranus and Neptune have high winds,
They are much like twins.
Pluto is a dwarf planet,
It has a strange orbit.
