The Frightened Dream
Kylar, Age 13, Phoenix, AZ
As I walked
home from the park
The whole sky was dark.
I started to cry
Thankfully, the moon lit up the sky.
However I was still scared
But brilliantly the moon cared.
Because it made a path for me
And all I could say is, “Gee, I’m free!”
I ran as fast as I could, “Zoom”
All the way upstairs to my room.
I leaped into my safe bed
Then I knew this was all in my head.
Because it was too extreme
To not be a dream.
