My Summer Trip to Great America
Angela, Age 11, San Pablo, CA

It was a warm summer Tuesday morning. You could see birds flying and dogs running lose in the streets. You could hear my sister telling me, “Wake up wake up.” I felt happy because we were going to Great America as a family for the first time instead of going with our friends like always.

I’m a girl and I’m eleven years old. I’m kind of tall. My hair color is black and my eye color is brown. I was wearing my Mickey Mouse Clubhouse pajamas. My eyes seem to be saying, “I can’t wait I can’t wait.” Our problem was that we thought we left the tickets at home.

The only two things you could see is cars and little kids fighting. You could hear my little sister saying, “Get out of my face” to my sister. I felt mad because my older sister, Pamela, was checking my messages.

My sister is seventeen years old, and she is short. Her hair color is black and her eye color dark brown. She was wearing blue Arizona jeans and a sleeping shirt with sirens on it. Her eyes seem to be saying, “I’m so bored; get me out of this car already”.
You could see my sister fighting with my cousin. You could hear me singing “One Hundred Sleepless Nights” from my favorite band. I felt annoyed because my brother was checking my messages too.

My brother is sixteen years old and he is tall. His eyes are dark brown and his hair is black with some curls. He was wearing a Walking Dead shirt and blue jeans. His eyes seem to be saying, “Get out of my face, Angela, you’re annoying.”

I was glad that we found the tickets because we were about to go back home. We ended up having a lot fun with our family.
