A Girl
Nika, Age 13, Phoenix, AZ
                      I see a girl.
She’s getting her books out of her locker, innocently, quietly, harmlessly.
I see three girls.
They’re walking down the hall, meanly, loudly, rudely.
They call the girl names. They say she’s ugly. They say she’s stupid, Worthless, disgusting.
This goes on for months.
Until one day.
The school halls are quiet, unknowing, normal.
Little do they know, that innocent, quiet, harmless girl is taking her own life.
Do the three girls understand?
Or are they merely unknowing?
Just like the rest.
