Goodbye
Ghalia, Age 13, Edmonton, AB
                      Terror.
Wobbling off,
making its way down
to the ground
forming the dead, colourful pile
much like shattered bottles of glass.
Fragile figures, falling gracefully,
trembling on the dark floor,
veins wrinkling in fear.
The terrible breeze will soon take them all,
ripping each one apart, limb by limb,
tearing the lives of the leaves.
May they all rest in peace
for a life shall never return.
Gone today,
gone forever.
Goodbye
little
leaf
I
will
miss
you.
