Bullying Poem
Noah, Age 12, Phoenix, AZ
I see my brother whip me off the couch
onto the ground cold hard ground
I see my head hit the toy on the ground

I hear my head crash against the toy
He's groaning as he throws me off
I hear myself crying once I hit the toy

I smell the carpet as I hit it
It smells like dog hair
I smell us both sweating

I taste the blood in my mouth
It tastes terrible
I taste the medicine that makes me feel nothing

I feel woozy as the needle comes toward my head
It still hurts when they put the stitches in
I feel my mom holding my hand
