The painful-yet-relaxing rain pounds on my skin like knives.
Water plunges into my mouth,
revealing its sour flavour.
The rain moans as it drenches me in its frigid water.
Iím blinded by the foggy, inky sky
and the pattering of rain on my eyes.
My nostrils are filed with the sweet smell of fresh rain.
My body is completely numb with the biting cold.
Iíve been walking for decades,
hoping to find a place for the night.
