It was a dark and gloomy night when Apollo and
Hades were wide awake having a late night conversation. Apollo wore a
yellow sun crown.
“Why do you have that weird thing on your head?” Hades asked.
“I have it on my head because it represents what type of god I am,”
“Well, I'm one of the gods too, but I don’t wear anything on my head,”
“Maybe because you don’t want to represent what type of god you are,”
Apollo and Hades started to argue about the yellow sun crown Apollo wore
on his head. Hades was the god of the underworld and of the dead. Apollo
was the god of sun.
Apollo and Hades eventually went to sleep. The next morning Hades was
sitting under a tree that was as tall as a skyscraper. Apollo walked up
to Hades and asked if he would like to go with him to a farm and collect
apples. They started to walk to the farm. They saw a llama walking back
and forth in front of a car. They kept on walking because the llama had
left five minutes after. Hades and Apollo got to the tree full with
apples. They figured that thirty-two apples was enough for seven apple
Apollo and Hades walked to an old dusty house with an old-fashioned
oven. Hades didn’t know if it was a good idea if they were just to walk
into a house that wasn’t locked.
“Go get some bread so we can start cooking the pies,” Apollo requested.
“Why do I have to do all of the work?” Hades answered.
“You have to do all the work because I picked most of the apples,”
“I won't help at all then!” Hades grumped.
Apollo and Hades started to argue again. Hades ran to the tall tree and
started to cry. A blue tear dropped onto Hades’ hand. After that a
raindrop fell onto his head. Hades looked up and saw something blue.
“It's a blue sky!!!!” Hades yelled proudly.
This is why the sky is blue and beautiful.
