Death Came
Ailand. Age 11. Melbourne, Australia
Originally published in October 2012
                      The day Death came
he snuck into the house silent as could be.
His face resembled a bleached, gloomy skull,
and his robes were black, his eyes were dull.
He was dead, but he was grand,
and then he held out his lifeless hand.
But I knew Death was sly,
and he was only there to watch me die.
So I took Death's hand and started to rise
towards the gates of Death's dark skies.
