Spelled in Ink
Amber. Age 12. Lavaca, Arkansas

                      They say it's impossible,
they don't believe me.
They can't see the true feelings
flying from him to me.
They say I'm too young,
they say it's too soon
My love for this boy reaches farther than the moon.
They say there's no way in the age and day,
that if I continue on this path I will soon pay,
But in his arms, I continue to stay.
They don't understand how we can love, so young, so quick,
so full of faith and trust,
Be with him forever, I must.
I haven't a care in the world what they think.
I continue to spell my love out in ink.
