One day a little girl named Kari went for a swim at the lake. Her Grandma sat on the shore and watched Kari swim. Kari pretended that she was a mermaid and she was going to the Castle under the water to see King Neptune. While Kari was swimming her Grandma sat on the shore picking up shells.

Suddenly, while Kari was playing, something happened. The water started sparkling and then a magical mermaid appeared. The mermaid said hello to Kari and they became best friends. Then it was time to go home. It was okay to go home because Kari had fun and it was a great day. Kari and the mermaid remained friends from that day on.
