SUMMARY: This
book is about a Dutch family who immigrates to Canada on an eight
day trip by boat. Peter and Yoka are 8 and 9 years old and are both
scared and happy to come to this new land. RATING: I give this book 3 out of 10 stars for challenge because it was an easy read and 10 out of 10 for quality because the book taught me about how it was to be an immigrant coming to Canada in 1950. |
