When the soldiers
went off to war They thought they would come home, The unfortunate didn't, the lucky did No soldiers were alone. They left their family With plenty to worry, They hoped and hoped To end the fury. The soldiers deserve to be remembered Today is Remembrance Day, We remember the day the war ended With such hope no one can say. Peace is everyone's wish and dream One day it's hoped to be true, With everyone's help, big or small We can make a difference, too. |
