Come to Canada
She knew the
Earth was drab,
the streets welcomed each day
with a splash of colour.
She came to Canada,
and the whole world opened up to her.
The Prairie wind gave her a wonderful feeling,
The Rockies brought splendor.
The Yukonís snow marveled her.
Quebec was a story all its own.
Ontarioís lakes dazzled her.
She thought the world had no song,
but in Canada,
each town had itís own sweet melody.
She felt welcome here,
and was eternally happy.
