She knew the
Earth was drab, but here, the streets welcomed each day with a splash of colour. She came to Canada, and the whole world opened up to her. The Prairie wind gave her a wonderful feeling, The Rockies brought splendor. The Yukon’s snow marveled her. Quebec was a story all its own. Ontario’s lakes dazzled her. She thought the world had no song, but in Canada, each town had it’s own sweet melody. She felt welcome here, and was eternally happy. |
