A Path
 Carly, Age 12, New Westminster, BC

Overgrown grass,
weeds and flowers
Grow over a crooked path,
leading to a house
Not properly called a house
but more an abandoned dwelling
with house-like features
Cracks in windows, and
walls with weathered pieces of
Wood invite the sunlight
"Come, come for tea."
