One thousand years ago there lived a man whose name was Butterumpa Wallters. He lived in a house made of mud. When it started to rain he had to move to another house because the mud came down and made him all dirty.

So he wondered if he could stop all this. When he went to a little country in Africa he saw a man selling bricks. He asked if he could buy one and the man said they were free. So Butterumpa made a house out of bricks. Now when it rains he will never have to move.
