A silent,
brooding heart sleeps A poignant, tearful face weeps Betrayal, loyalty and trust Three different layers, a forming crust Now quite rotten Yet only two remain forgotten The layer of Betrayal stays intact It hungrily seeks victims: a well-known fact. And it is quite successful in that search Which in turn leads you to lean over, lurch Anger, so strong A hot temper- clutches you for too long Fury strangles, you are unable to breathe, Instead you merely grit your teeth...... The hurting pain The unbearable disdain Different feelings felt for different people This triggers an abrupt, emotional ritual Sobs- they try to be trapped For happiness has been easily kidnapped. |
