Write a poem? How on Earth do I do that? My brain is fogging up My stomach is churning Everyone is writing except me What do I do now? I need to lie down I need some more paper I'm sweating. I need and idea, anything I'd rather be at home sick, sipping chicken soup I'd rather be doing a math exam Just not writing a poem! Time's up? Uh Oh! All I have is this dumb list of excuses You like it? Really? No kidding! I guess I'm a poet and I didn't even know it! |
