Rain falls softly
Gentle drops splash onto the still surface of a lake
As the first drop touches the water, a ripple forms

As the rain increases, the ripples grow bigger
The lake grows from a slight tremble to pounding waves
Then the rain slowly ceases
And the lake is still again
