You may say, I don’t want
to read a book about pants. I can understand how you feel (In England, when
they say pants, they mean underwear. Did you know that?). But trust me,
these are epic Pants. These Pants have the stunning power to transform four
ordinary teenage girls into raving beauties, living lives of astonishing
adventure, not to mention causing delicious, young men to fall constantly at
their feet.
Girls in Pants is a book about four seventeen year old girls and
their exciting and dramatic summer lives. However, this summer could be
their last together for a very long time. In September, each girl will go to
a different college, in a different city, and by next summer they will have
started their different lives. Between choosing colleges, working through
family crises, making friends, making mistakes, and falling in love, this
will be a summer they will never forget! But in September, who knew?
Ann Brashares is the author of Girls in Pants and the rest of the
Travelling Pants series: The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants
and The Second Summer of the Sisterhood. She lives in New York City
and loves summer, travelling, and wearing pants almost as much as her
husband and three kids. The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants was
her first novel. Girls in Pants is a realistic, hardcover novel with
338 pages. I recommend this book, or any of the others in this series, for
teenaged girls. They are my favourite books!
This is a very moving novel. When you finish, you’re at a loss. What will I
read now? What could possibly follow that? Girls in Pants is an
incredible book of friendship and adventure and I think every girl should
read it! Again, I love these books, and really hope there is a fourth
addition to the series. However, I do not recommend these books for guys!
