Once upon a time
there was a rabbit named Rabbit. His tail was 12 inches long. He
showed it off to all the other animals. On the first day of winter,
it snowed all day long. The snow got to the top of
the tallest oak tree. Rabbit got tired of showing off his tail; he fell asleep. The next morning he awoke. All the snow melted. He jumped down and his tail got caught on a branch. All the animals laughed at Rabbit and that’s how Rabbit got his short tail. |
