Eoin Colfer. The
Supernaturalist |

He stepped into
pandemonium. People fled in panicked droves to the fire escapes, oblivious
to the blue creatures clinging curiously to the walls. Not everybody was
oblivious. Stefan drew his lightening rod and started blasting. Parasites
exploded into azure bubbles, bouncing around the confined space like
pinballs. They made no sound and showed no surprise, simply swelled and
popped ... The Supernaturalist was written by the world-renowned author of the Artemis Fowl series. Eoin Colfer is an Irish author of children’s literature. He loves both books and reading, anything and everything, but his favourite book is Stig of the Dump. Besides the three best-selling Artemis Fowl books and The Supernaturalist, Eoin Colfer has written The Wish List and Benny and Omar. The Supernaturalist is a paperback sci-fi novel with 267 pages suitable for grades four and up. This is a great read! I recommend it to any teacher, parent, older sibling, or anyone needing a good book to read to someone. It is perfect for that! This story seems so real, even though there is obviously no way it could be. The characters are just so alive! As a science fiction novel it may not be one of the best I’ve read, but as a genuinely fun and exciting, summer reading-type story, it is excellent! That is why I give this book four stars. RATING: |
