On Fire |

|
The fire burns my
skin But I don't feel it The fire lights up the dark night But I don't see it Because My insides are on fire Fiery anger fills me, Burning my soul, leaving a mark Influencing my actions. I lash out, scream Slam doors to let out the anger But it only makes me upset My insides are on fire I want to be alone, away from the world So I can cry until I become So emotionally drained That I am tired My insides are now just numb coals And it’s a new day |
