The first thing I noticed about this book was the unusual cover.  But as I began to read it, I realized that it wasn’t just the cover that was unusual.  Inside the intriguing packaging was a strange and wonderful story.  Filled with beautiful art and ornate writing the correspondence of two people comes alive as a book.  With the envelopes and pull-out letters it is like reading someone's private mail.  This mail isn't boring though, and these people are anything but ordinary...

After finishing the letters I was shocked to read at the end that it was true! That the letters enclosed had been found in the studio of artist Griffin Moss.  They had been pinned to the ceiling in his place and he was nowhere to be seen.  Griffin Moss was never found. I would recommend this book to any age group - a wonderful read aloud for younger people, but one that is able to be appreciated by every generation.

Griffin and Sabine:  An Extraordinary Correspondence…definitely a five star book.
