Soon after returning home from stopping a runaway van filled with explosives, the Hardy boys, Frank and Joe, learn that their father wants to shut down A.T.A.C. (American Teens Against Crime). Something had gone terribly wrong on an assignment. A female agent was posing as a waitress at truck stop intent on getting the goods on a teen run chop shop. She got too eager and didn’t‚t wait for back up. Soon, however, they still receive another ATAC assignment. This time, it takes them to a new mall opening in their area. Someone doesn’t‚t want the mall to open. Someone doesn’t‚t want it to open bad enough to put many peoples lives in danger, and even to commit murder. Will the Hardy Boys be able to stop any serious injuries?

Malled was written by Scott Lobdell, and Daniel Rendon. There are exactly eighty-four pages of awesomely illustrated frames, along with very colorful headings. As did Hardy Boys #3, this one also has a special advance preview of The Hardy Boys Graphic Novel #5 See You, Sea Me. Malled definitely has very exhilarating text that fit right in with the suspense filled frames of every one of the eighty-four exciting pages. This book is a full-color graphic novel, so it is much clearer and detailed than a normal black and white one. I really enjoyed reading this book because it kept me on my toes the whole time, and just absolutely dying to turn the page to find out what happened or how it ended.

I give Malled four stars.
