In this hilarious sequel to Out from Boneville, Smiley Bone and Phoney Bone try to rig the cow race to get more money. But, Grandma Benís best friend, Lucius, sets them up. They end up in major debt and have to pay it off by working at Luciusís tavern and Grandma Benís house, which is totally destroyed by rat creatures. The rat creatures continue to pursue the Bone cousins, and Thorn continues to have mysterious dreams.

This graphic novel by Jeff Smith is a must-read adventure story with parts that will send a chill up your spine, parts that will make you laugh, and parts that will make you smile. Itís a great book, and anyone who likes a good comic book would love Bone.

Bone is GREAT! The storyline is to the point, and some parts make you think about whom the hooded one is. Or why Thorn is having weird dreams. Jeff Smith is great at telling a story, and even better at drawing it. I love Bone; every single book in this funny line of adventure books was awesome.

I give Bone: The Great Cow Race five out of five stars.
