This is a very gripping novel that follows the journeys of two teenagers and how they slowly, but surely, become very good friends, and their attempt to runaway from all the problems that they had ignored in the past. I would recommend it to readers between the ages of 12-16.

Rosie Moon is a bright girl who definitely has her own signature look, but is definitely admired among her peers.  Asher Fielding is a huge Jim Morrison fan that again has a very peculiar look that includes dreadlocks.  When these two individuals partner up for an assignment they begin a relationship that will last for years to come.  With Asher being the new kid on the block, he is the obvious target to put blame on when a wallet is stolen from a fellow student.  Even though he didnít steal it, the only person who believes him is Rosie.  The two now very close friends decide to leave the lives they never enjoyed and live the high life, which in this case is hitchhiking, up the Australian coast.  Where will their travels lead them?

Although I think that writing is fantastic throughout the book, I wasnít one hundred percent sold on the story so I give it 3 stars.
