Vicki Grant. Pigboy |

Daniel is a boy who clearly is at a loss for good luck. He has glasses, is allergic to just about everything, and is constantly being bullied. In this book Daniel and his classmates go on a field trip to a pig farm. Everything is fine once they get there, until Daniel finds his teacher strapped and gagged, with her own scarf, and lying in a pool of blood in between the bus seats. This book was small, yet captivating. It had a way of beginning that caught the eye, and showed the reader that there was something to read here. I flew through the novel, and was in complete shock when the storyline took a turn for the worse. It definitely keeps you on your toes. I would recommend this novel for twelve years and up. The novel is a short read with a good message and it is bound to have your attention until the last word. Five out of five stars! It is a great book to choose, for excitement, but mainly for its moral. RATING: |
