My mother still doesn’t know what she’s going to do without him—or with me.’

David is old enough now to know right from wrong. Or is he really? One night, a police officer is knocking on their door. Then David finds himself in an interrogation room for the murder of his stepfather.

This novel is one that I will always have in my mind. It has a wonderful arrangement of mystery that keeps you guessing. The characters are believable, and easy to relate to. It has the most wonderful storyline I have ever read, and I adored it. The book may be short, but it packs a punch.

I would recommend this book for twelve years and up. It does have some violent parts, but that just makes it more interesting. There were so many twists that I got dizzy. The plot was prolonged, yet that made it all the more intriguing.

Five out of five stars for Tell. This book will dazzle you with its secret hints and devastating ending.
