Marilyn Singer. Cats To
The Rescue |

Marilyn Singer wrote Cats To The Rescue. It is a fact-filled book with true tales of heroic felines. Ms Singer lives in Brooklyn, New York, where she writes many books (she has written more than 70) based on different articles/stories she discovers from a variety of sources. Her main interest in writing is creating books about animals. Some other books she has written are A Dog's Gotta Do What A Dog's Gotta Do: Dogs At Work and Tough Beginnings: How Baby Animals Survive. This book shows you that most cats have a great, and sometimes heroic, personality. One of the stories that sticks out in my mind was how a girl had slipped into a coma after being hit by a car and didn’t awaken until nearly seven months later, when a stray cat started to daily crawl into her room through the bedroom window and groom her hand. After eight days, the girl (Maria) became conscious. All in all, I would rate this fantastic book 4 out of 5 stars. Some parts of it were a little slow, but other than that, it was a fact-filled adventure. RATING: |
