I think the best part about this book is that it is written by teenagers for teenagers.  No one can understand or speak to us better than we can to each other.  It makes a lot more sense for us to talk to one another about things we are all experiencing than to be lectured by adults who arenít experiencing what we are.

St. Stephens Community House has done an outstanding job putting this book together.  The artwork that is included is inspiring in itself.  It is a wonderful resource, and it provides different viewpoints and lots of information and where to find more.  I loved the way that many of the stories were written just the way the girl would have said it out loud - or just the way I might put it.  Many of the stories and poems were really touching, and they taught me a lot of things.  This book is bursting with information and it has a unique and new way of presenting something we have all heard so much about.  Obviously this book is not for younger readers; Iíd say itís suitable for girls over 14 due to language as well as subject matter.

I think that The Little Black Book for Girlz:  A Book on Healthy Sexuality is an awesome resource and an excellent way to present some information to girls about sex and sexuality.

This is definitely a five star book and I would highly recommend it to any girl between 14 and 20, if not for the information then for the outlooks and opinions expressed.
