Here, There Be Dragons is a story about three men: John, Jack, and Charles. On an ordinary night their lives are changed forever. When Johnís tutor from Oxford is mysteriously murdered, a strange looking man named Bert appears saying that they are the new caretakers of a book filled with maps called The Imaginarium Geographica. Right after that, savage beasts called the Wendigo, which are part man, and part beast attack them. The four men flee to Bertís ship where they sail away from the port of England to begin their adventure as the guardians of The Imaginarium Geographica.

I think that Here, There Be Dragons is a very descriptive and detailed book with a cool twist to the ending. It is based on the time of World War I, except with a knights-wizards-dragons theme to it. I would recommend this book for anyone who is over the age of eleven, and likes stories about the past blended with the mythological world.

I give Here, There Be Dragons 5 out of five stars.
