A young female bear, a wooden nutcracker, and a hidden palace. Together they make one awesome Christmas adventure, filled with tin warriors, scavenging mouse armies, and fantastic animal actors.

Woodland Nutcracker is a great Christmas story retold by Avril Tyrrell, and is filled with great pictures by Frances Tyrrell. It’s another one of those books that is filled with the spirit of Christmas and the spirit of giving. I think it would be suitable for kids of all ages. Its pictures are amazing and the story is original.
