Driven out of their home by a mad man named Heimertz, the twins Edgar and Ellen will do anything to avoid his wrath, even if they have to join the circus. Brought in by a kind but mysterious magician, they must perform a series of tasks in order to be a part of the circus. But as they start to feel more at home, the twins realize that nothing is as it seems … High Wire is Book 5 in the Edgar & Ellen series, along with such books as Rare Beasts, Under Town, and Pet’s Revenge. Coming soon to the series is Nod’s Limbs, Book 6. If you want to read more about Edgar & Ellen, visit www.edgarandellen.com. High Wire is an excellent book.
