How Monkeys Make Chocolate is a factual book about the mysteries of the rainforest. It’s a great reference for someone wanting to learn more or having to do a report on it.

This book is filled with lots of incredible facts and colourful photographs about the rainforest, and its inhabitants. However, in my opinion, the only downside to this book is the title. As catchy as it is, it doesn’t suit the book and it is a bit misleading, and it’s also the name of the second chapter. When I first saw this book, I thought, wow, monkeys make chocolate! I wanted to know more. I was really excited until I opened the cover and quickly discovered that monkeys really can’t make chocolate!

Even though this book is not what I would usually pick for reading, I found it very interesting. I would also recommend it to kids of all ages, even if they don’t like chocolate.
