This is a really good book filled from cover to cover in information.  Every thing you ever could or want to know about the Muslim culture is in this book.  It explains why the Muslim community does the things they do and what these actions symbolize to them.  The book covers many topics such as politics, their faith, the treatment of women and terrorism, as well as many others.

I have mixed feelings about my opinion on this book.  Without being Muslim and not keeping up with the latest happenings in their culture, it was hard to get into.  It definitely would not be a book that I would read for pleasure, but if you are looking for facts this is a must have.  Overall it was a very well written and very well laid out book that will be cherished by many readers whom are interested in this topic.

Being Muslim deserves 3 stars.
