Millions of orphans. Three Tests. Four ‘winners’. When Reynie, Sticky, Kate and Constance took the tests they didn’t know that they would pass, let alone become undercover agents. Together they infiltrate the Learning Institute for the Very Enlightened and find out top-secret information on what the institute is really about.

The Mysterious Benedict Society is a book with crazy characters and even crazier ideas. I thought it would be dull from looking at the cover but when I got into the book I was amazed at how different it was from what I thought. I kept reading it and was caught up in the plot. When I got to the end of the book I wished there was more. From the first chapter through to the last this was a great read.

I would recommend this book to people who enjoy a good long story. Those 12 and older would enjoy it best because of its length.

This reviewer gives The Mysterious Benedict Society 5 undercover stars.
