Heís still there, leaning against the outside of the shelter, watching me. ďSee you around, Shawn Morrissey,Ē he calls out. Heís holding something in his hands, playing with it. Itís hard to tell exactly what it is, but from where Iím standing, it looks like a knife.

This fast-paced short novel keeps your heart beating at a hundred miles an hour. When Shawn and his friend decide to take a shortcut down an alley to get home after school, they see three guys, and another on the ground; thereís a pool of something dark on the pavement. Only after the guy inflicting the injury has seen their faces, do they run. Will they become part of the hunt? Or the hunted?

This novel is a good read. The fight and chase scenes are absolutely tantalizing. Young uses an easy-to-read style of writing. Personally, I would like to have seen even more in-depth descriptions throughout the text itself. However, I would recommend this book for people twelve years and up. It does have some bloody scenes, but itís a good book.

This reviewer gives See No Evil four shocking stars.
