The stars come out at night,
oh they are a beautiful sight.

They are diamonds studding the sky,
but at the crack of dawn they say goodbye.

Twinkle, twinkle little star,
how I wonder where you are?

Once the light bulbs to all mankind,
but now dimmed by city lights,
you are hard to find.

But when we do see you ,
you shine bright and true.
