Dear Diary, am I tired. My sweet sixteen party yesterday was pretty nice.

Although I wish my present had been having some respect and attention from mom and not a piggy pajama. My brother Jackson, who looks like a monkey, always gets all the attention and love. But how should I get her attention and respect? Good deeds? More jobs? Or dog care?

My brother just came in and got a C- and mom was ohh so proud. My grades are between Bís and Cís. But still she gets mad and tells me to do better. What am I to do here?

Dear diary, today was another day of school and it was the best one ever. Today I opened my locker when I came at school and there was a note.

Sam just asked ME to have lunch with HIM in two hours.

But what should I wear? What should I do? What should I SAY?

I think Iím going to wear that cute pink dressÖ and Iíll just try to act . Ohh who am I kidding this is going to be a disastrous lunch.

Dear diary, I just came back from my fabulous lunch with Sam. We went to one of the most expensive restaurants in town, The Cooked Chef, where he had reserved seats for us. We ate very good steak and a nice chocolate dessert (to share).

He promised me that we would go see the empire state building with his little brother in exactly 3 days.

Dear diary, today looked like such a relaxing day and I felt as free as a bird. Samís little brother, Mitchel, is 6 years old and has a really, really cute face. Short, brown hair and dark, green eyes. When we were at the top of the empire state building Mitchel leaned forward a little too far and fell forward through the hole you look through. When I saw this happening I jumped off after him and grabbed him by the middle. Sam thought we were both going to fall but the only thing he didnít see was that I tied my shawl to one of the fences. When I pulled us up Sam first hugged his brother and than hugged and kissed me. This was one of the best and scariest days of my life.

Dear diary, my mom finally saw what I did for Mitchel and finally saw me as her hero. My mom hugged me and talked to me and she also bought me my own PUPPY. Her name is Sultan.
