Do you know about my life time? If you don’t,
let me tell you about it.
I was born on Jan. 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia. I had a brother and a sister. My mother, Alberta, was a teacher and my father, Martin, was a pastor. They named me Martin Luther King. I helped to change laws for the rights of blacks. I changed buses, schools, and restaurants. I wanted people to solve problems peacefully, not with fighting. I wanted to help people. I wanted to live in peace. I dreamt that people could be kind and respectful to one another. I was a pastor like my father. I finished high school two years early. I married Coretta Scot. I held a lot of protests. I was a good speaker. I died April 4th, 1968 from a gunshot. |
