Frogs are very interesting animals.
They start out with tails, and they swim underwater, and then they turn into
four-legged bouncing amphibians. Wanda gathers some tadpoles from a puddle,
and in turn saves their lives. They are put in an aquarium at school, and
when they grow up…it is time to let them go. But Wanda doesn’t want to let
them go that easily! This is a very cute book; the cover jacket grabs the eye immediately. The rosy-cheeked children and the small green frogs in the pictures were very attractive. The background illustrations were very colourful as well, giving the reader a lot to look at. Every picture took up two pages with its big over-sized pictures. The writing matched the pictures perfectly. I would recommend this book for children from seven to ten years old. It is a lovely picture book with a good bedtime story! I give Wanda And The Frogs four bouncy stars. RATING: |
