When I Was a Little Girl
(A Weather Poem) |

When I was little
I was real afraid of thunder. I would hide my head in shame and cuddle with my bear; but now I am a big girl so I run outside and scream, "I'm not afraid of thunder!" And that's how come the thunder goes really really loud. I run to my room to tell my teddy bear but he just nods in shame and wears a distant stare. So that's how come now I stay inside when its raining. I don't bother to look to the sky. |
