This non-fiction book tells you about different kinds of candy, how it was made and even where it originated!  Did you know that animals crave sweets, just like people?  And that ice cream cones were invented by accident?  I didnít know that, but by reading this book, just this one book, I learned a pile of new facts, maybe even more than I do in a whole day of school.  There sure are a lot of words but reading this book is totally worth it!

Colourful illustrations make each and every page look inviting and so tasty!  The pictures of candy make me want candy more than I already do.  The facts and illustrations bring the book together to create one of the best non-fiction books that Iíve ever read!

I would give Sweet! The Delicious Story of Candy an amazingly tasty five stars.
