Have you ever had one of those restless nights, when you just can’t get to sleep? Or when it is the middle of the night and you just can’t stand the sound of that dripping tap or someone’s snoring, anymore? Those problems seem very mild compared to the snoring in the picture book, My Daddy Snores. The daddy in this book snores so loud it is like a chugging train or a roaring dinosaur! Could you live with that?

This picture book reminded me very much of my own father when he starts snoring! My Daddy Snores made me laugh! The illustrations are all very well done, colourful and full of life. The exasperated expressions on the characters faces are what I liked the best, because they were big. This is a great gift book for that loud dad! It is a lovely present to prepare for your dad on Father’s Day! Wouldn’t he love to hear how loud his snoring really is!

I would recommend this book for families with small children because the imaginative illustrations will keep everyone captivated. A good read for that special dad who snores! Plus, it is a good way to learn your days of the week.
