Love Never really understood The importance Until things got bad Until I realized All the people In the world that I loved loved me because they had to, Not because They wanted to They didn't love me They loved the thought of me The illusion Not reality Then I found out The truth Love doesn't always Have to be one-sided Somehow By the luck of the draw Or by the grace of God I found people That loved me For me And not for who They wished I could be Love The one small word that complicates or simplifies everything. |
