Running away. Itís something weíve all probably considered or experienced at some point in our lives. And Ö well letís just say it never turns out the way you plan. In Sydney and Turkís case, they never foresaw what would soon take place when they reached the royal woods.

After leaving their father way back in eastern Canada, their lives take an unanticipated turn. From trains to golf courses, houses to hobo homes, through a desperate search and the sheer thrill of being free, The Royal Woods teaches us all a lesson in how important family and friends are.

I really enjoyed reading this book and found it quite suitable for my age group, even though the characters are both younger than me. I found myself laughing out loud at some parts in the book, too! If I could change one thing about this book, it would be to know what happens afterwards. I have so many questions! If this book would have had an epilogue, then I believe it would have satisfied my curiosity!

I give The Royal Woods 4 stars. It was a funny, action-packed novel.
